July 24, 2008: One-Day Microarray Data Analysis Workshop With DNA Chip Analyzer (dChip)

UCLA Clinical Microarray Core is pleased to announce a one-day microarray data analysis workshop to be held on Thursday, July 24, 2008. This intensive training is designed for faculty, staff and students who wish to learn advanced microarray data analysis using the popular free software: DNA-Chip Analyzer (dChip). The training will include: 1) data quality evaluation, 2) data normalization, 3) data filtration, 4) various comparison analyses, 5) cluster analysis, 6) principal component analysis, 7) linear discriminant  analysis, and 8) gene ontology & pathway analysis.

Registration fee is $300 for UCLA attendees (40% discount for the participants from the department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine) and $500 for the external participants.
